Long-Term Collaboration with CMC TV
For many years, we’ve been working with the team at CMC TV on the CMC Festival. The festival has been around for 20 years, and for the past ten, we’ve been responsible for the visuals. I remember being a kid and waiting for the new Bravo Hits, a compilation sanctuary for us eagerly anticipating new singles and hits. With that vision in mind, we started creating the visuals for the CMC Festival: they had to be recognizable from a mile away!
Visual Recognition from Afar
Every year, the CMC Festival brings around 30 new songs from some of the biggest stars of the Croatian music scene, as well as new, unestablished artists for whom this is a stepping stone. Everything happens in Vodice at the beginning of June, on a big stage in front of the best audience in the world. Our idea was to have a new visual every year, but for the loyal audience to immediately recognize “there’s the visual for the new CMC Festival”.
More than Just a Billboard
The visual for the CMC Festival is not just a billboard in the city center or on the street. The same visual is used as the cover for the CD and for all digital releases. That’s why every year we follow trends, trying to give the CMC Festival that zeitgeist feeling for each year.
Connecting the Festival, Summer, and Hits
The CMC Festival is not just an event; it’s a summer story full of hits in beautiful Vodice. The combination of warm summer sun, musical hits, and the festival creates a special feeling that we try to convey through our visuals. Every year we bring something new, but always with the goal of making the audience feel the connection between the festival, summer, and hits.
